FANTASTIC vintage feel

As a stay-at-home Dad of two in diapers with hands that are often full, I do most of my Kindle reading 1.) One-handed, and 2.) in short but frequent bursts. This cover suits me PERFECTLY: the leather doesn't have stiff position that 'favors' the full-open or full-close position like some do, but instead it swings loosely in 360° so I can open flatly on a table surface and step back to read hands-free, then close it up again for protection when I'm done.

The same property of the full-swing cover also lets me fold it all the way back on itself for those golden moments when I CAN sit back and read more leisurely, and it doesn't add noticeably to the overall thickness (nice!). The elastic corner straps took me far too long to initially set in place (5 minutes?) when I first put the cover on, but that's because I'm a perfectionist who wouldn't settle for any bunching, twisting or folding. Once I got them nice and flat, they've behaved perfectly ever since- no accidental releases, etc. One warning- as I tried to illustrate in the photos I shared, the lower straps do obscure the volume and Shift buttons very slightly, but it doesn't impede function at all, & I use that Shift button a lot in my note-taking. Aesthetically, IMHO, it can't be beat! I love the vintage old-world feel of the leather material. The text decoration is embossed slightly, and the inner layer surface is very soft on my Kindle. You may have more use for the inner front cover pocket that I do. I love the way the cover looks when paired with my decal/skin which you can find here.
